Tell Us What Makes a Good Pitch

The agency powering New Home Feed, Graphic Language, is a finalist for a really cool, even visionary new construction project. We are putting together an in-person pitch and so want to ask our readers: have you ever participated in or witnessed a really amazing pitch from an ad agency or graphic designer? Something Don Draper esque? If so please contact us because we want to hear your perspective on what impressed you. Thanks.

How up to date are you? #realestate

The folks over at Hydundai have released this great commercial about technology over the ages, coupled with the great tagline,

“What if we always settled for the first thing that came along?”

This speaks volumes for the online world of real estate. This isn’t to discount the old ways, but we must take the lessons from the past and then build on them to be prepared for everything.

Free Pizza

Pretty cool. Papa John’s is giving away free pizza to folks who register for their loyalty program. IF the game goes into overtime.

As the web matures (if the web can be said to be maturing?) the game for marketers becomes getting names. Email addresses. Folks who opt-in to receive your message. And so Papa John’s gambles that even if they have to give away all these pizzas, the rewards – thousands of people electing to receive direct marketing messages – are huge. (And plus: this campaign gets people like me writing about it and people like you to read it. Big bonus.)

And the question for many of our readers here is: how do we apply the creativity of campaigns like this one to the real estate industry? Let us know if you come up with something.
