Wordpress and Microsoft just announced a partnership today that will make Wordpress.com the default blogging program for Windows Live.
WPxMS
I must admit that I feel this partnership will more than likely work out better for WordPress than it will for Windows Live. But great for WordPress – the platform that we support here at New Home Feed!

Taking a cue from popular sites like FourSquare and Gowalla, Facebook will be offering a new feature that allows their users to post their location with their status updates. Looks like McDonald’s, who is working with Facebook on a new marketing app, will be the first company allowed to use this feature as a marketing tool. Assuredly there will be many more to follow in the coming months. This could be a uniquely useful feature for Home Builders and the Real Estate industry as location is everything.
