Facebook Beats Google – Most Visited Website in US

The good people at Hitwise gazed into the crystal ball and report back to the rest of us that Facebook is the most popular website in the United States. More visits than Google.

This is the first time Facebook has ranked as the top site. Google got rich after cementing its reputation as the go-to website for search by introducing an ad model, the keyword auction, where you pay only when your ad gets clicked. Facebook is still determining how to monetize the website, but be assured they will.

Because we know some who read this blog, we must ask: with numbers like these, why would you not use Facebook?
