Naming that Pre-Launch Feeling
Is there a word, maybe in German, for that feeling that combines incredible excitement with the tinge of nervousness that is so familiar to anyone who is getting close to the finish line of a new web application? That word, whatever it is, applies to everybody here at NewHomeFeed.com. The strategy guys are coming to the design team crazy with all their ideas and valuable feedback that keeps coming in from our agency and builder friends, which flows into the production team, who with bitten-lips do such an incredible job of accommodating these changes. And now – here we are: approaching IBS in Vegas, where we’ll unveil our new tool.
We have worked with a lot of marketing VPs in the homebuilder space, and we’ve got a sort of composite image of this builder marketing exec. As we get ready to launch this thing, we think of this person and our goal is to have New Home Feed look like what she dreams of when she sleeps and contemplates how to make her life easier. We want it to get homes where they need to be, easily and instantly, and we want the reports she gets on web traffic to be so damn easy to understand that her CEO gets it. We want her to get a raise.
As we put the finishing touches on New Home Feed, we now ask you, our readers: what do you think? If we tell you we’ve got this amazing new tool that gets your homes on a robust national network, a network including unpaid as well as pay-to-list websites, while delivering easy-to-understand, totally digestible, action-oriented reports – what would you want to see? How can we tailor this tool for you? Let us know in comments.
